Title: EACD Employment Survey for Women

Description:

As you are aware, Employment Action for Cultural Diversity (EACD) is an advocacy working group convened by the Multicultural Development Association. In order to improve employment opportunities for women, EACD is undertaking research to explore the barriers and challenges experienced by women from new and emerging communities (NEC) aged between 16 and 65 in seeking employment.

On this site there is also survey for service providers who work with CALD women from NEC to explore their experiences and observations in supporting women to obtain employment. However, EACD is also interested in finding out from women themselves about their barriers to employment.

 

Attached you will find a survey for female job seekers from NEC aged 16 – 65 to complete. The survey explores the views and experiences of women in relation to job seeking and learning English in Australia. Please note this survey is for women from NEC who are currently looking for work.

The survey closes on Friday 30 September 2011. Please return it by email to Penny Neller, Senior Advocacy Officer, Multicultural Development Association at pennyn@mdabne.org.au or by mail to the Multicultural Development Association, 28 Dibley Street, Woolloongabba, QLD, 4102 (attention it to Penny Neller). Further information for participants is detailed in a short letter at the start of the survey.
