Job Summary

Multicultural Youth SA Inc (MYSA) is the state representative advisory, advocacy and service delivery body for young people from multicultural backgrounds in South Australia. MYSA is seeking a committed, proactive and passionate person to join its dynamic team.

Senior Youth Worker

 Level 4 , 1.0 FTE

[Contract until June 2012 with possibility of extension]

Senior Youth Worker

The Senior Youth Worker will deliver casework, group work and sport and recreation activities to contribute to the effective support and settlement of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. The Senior Youth Worker will also provide support to a small team of youth workers with responsibility to deliver casework services in accordance with service delivery agreements. The Senior Youth Worker will liaise with young people, their communities and mainstream agencies and will represent MYSA on relevant service networks to advance organisational goals and objectives.
