Abstract: The Burmese Community Governance Project aimed to
• build cohesiveness amongst the different small groups
• use the knowledge and skills of the few older established members
• Provide education to the key members including women and young people on democratic practice, equal opportunities, legal obligations, ethical considerations
• Develop, write and register a Constitution
• Elect an interim Management Committee
• Organise activities for their community to enhance settlement
• Participate in broader community activities and events
• Take up volunteering and work experience to further their employment pathways

Abstract: Chatterbox Program is designed for those with low levels literacy. It facilitates connection between young people.

Abstract: This evaluation report assesses the extent to which the program achieved its aims. This is preceded by a summary of projects’ major achievements including their self assessment of success factors. Comments regarding projects sustainability and future plans are also included.

Abstract: The HFRP is a collaborative interagency early intervention program that works with the whole family early in their arrival to support and provide advice to the family, particularly in terms of family relationship issues and family breakdowns.
