There are plenty of ways to look for work. Some of these may be to : 1. Ask friends/family if they know of any job vacancies 2. Reading the employment section of newspapers 3. Registering with job placement agencies 4. Using Web-Based Job search Resources 5. Door-to-Door employer visits All of these have benefits. Depending on the type of work you are looking for, some methods may be more useful than others. It is important to keep in mind the type of work you want and whether you are using your time effectively. For example, visiting employers personally, walking from door-to-door, is a good sign of motivation and enthusiasm. The negative side of door-to-door visits are that they take a lot of time and don’t have a good rate of success. Web Based resources, on the other hand, are very time effective and allow you to use the services of many providers at one time, without using a lot of your own personal resources.
