Inclusion and Integration Grants Program - Evaluation Report

This report assesses both the extent to which projects funded through the IIGP Rounds One and Two fulfilled the objectives of each of the funding categories. It also provides an evaluation of the project development, funding and monitoring process. This assessment is preceded by a summary of projects’ major achievements including their self assessment of success factors. Comments regarding projects sustainability and future plans are also included.

One of the strategies approved by Cabinet as part of the Western Australian Inclusion and Integration Action Plan to address issues of marginalisation, alienation and social exclusion was the funding of an Inclusion and Integration Grants Program (IIGP). The objectives of the Inclusion and Integration Grants Program relate to the provision of one-off grant funding to community based and non-government organisations to undertake programs designed to build community capacity, and promote integration and active participation by all members of Western Australian’s diverse community.

This report evaluations the various projects funded by the IIGP program.
